Technical and Historical Notes

The VA-1SS Metal Siren was a state-of-the-art variable fighter deployed by U.N. Spacy during the Mardook War in 2092. Compared to the three-mode transformation that was standard in other variable fighters, the Metal Siren featured a fourth, the space combat form known as Gundroid. The Metal Siren's armaments included two anti-aircraft laser cannons, two gun pods, two beam cannons, missile launchers and a plasma spear (which mounted on the nose in Fighter mode). The Metal Siren was used by ace pilot Nexx Gilbert during the desperate final battle against the Mardook, an alien species that used brainwashed Zentradi as soldiers and intended to eradicate Earth.
