Technical and Historical Notes

The Fz-109F Elgersoln was the commander version of the Varauta's main variable fighter, the Fz-109A. In addition to cosmetic changes, the Fz-109F featured more powerful engines and extra weapons. Compared to the Fz-109A's armaments, the Fz-109F added an extra barrel to its rear laser gun, plus four extra laser guns and two missile launchers. For the majority of the Protodeviln War of 2045-6, the Varauta forces were commanded by the Protodeviln Gigile, who piloted an Fz-109F.
