Technical and Historical Notes

The Glaug was a tactical pod used by Zentradi commanders that featured heavier firepower over the standard Regult. In addition to using a different leg design and a forward facing cockpit hatch, the Glaug featured two arms that each mounted small- and large-bore impact cannons. Additional armaments included a long-range electron beam cannon mounted on top of the main body, as well as a pair of anti-personnel laser cannons. The Glaug was limited to ground combat in a planetary atmosphere, but it could use an optional aerospace booster to achieve flight. By the time of Space War I in 2009, the Glaug was a rarer unit due to the Supervision Army having damaged the Roiquonmi factory satellite where they were produced 280,000 cycles earlier (in Zentradi timekeeping). Notorious commander Kamjin Kravshera used a Glaug as his personal unit for the entirety of Space War I and during the Zentradi insurgency of 2011-12. In subsequent decades, the Glaug design evolvef through new units like the Neo Glaug and VBP-1 Variable Glaug. By 2067, New U.N. Spacy was using the Super Glaug, which featured some differences in armaments.
