Technical and Historical Notes

The MBR-07-Mk.II Destroid Spartan was a series seven main battle robot manufactured by Centinental and Kransmann for use by U.N. Spacy. In contrast to other Destroids, the Spartan was designed for close-range combat and carries a metallic club. Other armaments included a pair of Bifors rocket launchers, a pair of Bifors anti-aircraft laser guns and an Astra gun cluster that included a laser gun, flamethrower and two machine guns. Thanks to its heavy armor and high mobility, the Spartan was widely deployed on the front during Space War I. After the war, Spartans were also deployed across Earth’s surviving cities to maintain security in the wake of violent Zentradi uprisings.
