Technical and Historical Notes

Entering service prior to Space War I, the Oberth class destroyer was the mainline space combat vessel of U.N. Spacy. Designed with OverTechnology, the Oberth was armed with multiple beam guns and a total of 18 missile launchers that could fire missiles with reaction warheads. Over 125 Oberth destroyers were constructed, although the third ship, the Tsiolkovsky, was destroyed in 2005 after being hijacked by the Anti-United Nations. Most of the Oberth fleet was lost to the Zentradi during Space War I, with only a few surviving.
