Technical and Historical Notes

The Quel-Quallie was a reconnaissance scout pod used by the Zentradi forces. Manufactured at the Boquomouxy factory satellite, the pod utilized a large sensor cluster for its data gathering missions. The Quel-Quallie was armed with a pair of electron particle beam guns and two missile launchers. Its armor was durable enough to withstand a heavy attack, and the craft featured a Boreregue emergency escape pod for its three crew. During Space War I in 2009, a Quel-Quallie was dispatched to gather intelligence about the Macross. The Quel-Quallie was destroyed in combat against Hikaru Ichijyo’s VF-1J Armored Valkyrie, but the Zentradi crew managed to escape. During the post-war Zentradi insurgency of 2011, Kamjin Kravshera used a Quel-Quallie to transport a stolen reaction engine that he needed to power his Medium-Scale Gun Destroyer.
