Technical and Historical Notes

The Regult tactical pod was the mainline mass production unit used by the Zentradi army across its many fleets. The Regult was designed to operate in all environments, although it was incapable of atmospheric flight. With its booster engines and vernier thrusters, the Regult was a formidable match for U.N. Spacy’s VF-1 Valkyrie during Space War I. Its armaments included a pair of medium-bore electron beam guns, a pair of small-bore anti-personnel laser cannons and a pair of small-bore anti-aircraft laser guns. The Zentradi also utilized several Regult variants that carried heavy missiles, light missiles or serve as scouts. After Space War I, Regults were used by both U.N. Spacy and Zentradi insurgents. By 2067, New U.N. Spacy was using the newer ZBP-104 Regult Type-104, as well as the upgraded ZBP-106 Regult Type-106, which added arms and extra armaments.
