The Tivar IV was an advanced space fighter based on the Tivar II, although its appearance resembled the Pluto space fighter. The Tivar IV was equipped with a single cannon and several missiles. Units usually operated in groups of four after launching from their mothership. Many units were deployed during a Dezalg attack on Megazone 23's space fleet, but they were inadequate against the Dezalg Sturm Gertz.
