The Megafauna was the mothership of the Amerian Forces’ “Pirate Corps.” The ship was originally constructed for the Amerian Forces using Rose of Hermes blueprints. Political pressure forced the Amerian Forces to announce that the ship would be dismantled and abandoned, but it was secretly completed as the Megafauna, named after the zoological term for large/giant animals. The Megafauna was equipped with a Minovsky Flight System and was capable of leaving and entering Earth’s atmosphere without assistance. Its armaments included two 2-barrel mega particle cannons, two mega particle cannons and 14 anti-aircraft machine guns. Captained by Donyell Toss, the Megafauna became the mothership for three Gundam-type mobile suits in RC 1014.
