The Mega Iron was a massive robot that resembled the ones featured in old Japanese super robot anime, but it never existed. When SV2 mechanic Shigeo “Shige” Shiba fell down a flight of stairs and broke his leg, he dreamt of an exaggerated New York City. In his dream, New York was protected by the elite CLAT (Crime Labor Attack Team), which used its own custom Ingrams. The Mega Iron, controlled by a mask villainess, appeared and threatened to destroy the United Nations building. The massive, slow-moving Mega Iron could smash things with its powerful legs. It was armed with a large Geo-Crystal wand that was set to detonate and set off a nuclear explosion that would destroy New York. Shige failed to disarm the wand, thus destroying the city and ending his dream.
