The MS-06 Zaku II Prototype Propellant Tank Unit was a variant of the Principality of Zeon’s standard use MS-06F Zaku II. To extend its cruising range, the prototype mounted two propellant tanks on its chest and four on a specially designed backpack. However, the trade-off for extended cruising range was a considerable decrease in mobility and imbalance created by the weight of the propellant tanks. Its only armament was the standard Zaku II shoulder shield.
