The MS-06BR Ballistic Zaku was a custom Gunpla built by Meijin Kawaguchi the 3rd. It was based on the MS-06S Zaku II (Commander Type) from the 1979-80 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam. It was specifically patterned off the version piloted by ace Char Aznable with his red color scheme. The base Gunpla was unchanged, and the Meijin’s customizations could be found in its weapon pack. The Ballistic Zaku used some standard Zaku weapons, such as a cracker grenade, heat hawk and Zaku bazooka. Its new armaments included three funnels, a beam rifle and a double beam tomahawk. In a test of Gunpla Battle’s new AI control system based on Gundam anime characters, the Meijin allowed the Ballistic Zaku to be controlled by a Char AI against Allan Adams’ CB-9696G/C/T Reversible Gundam. After the Char AI took the lead, Allan switched things up by swapping in an AI based on Char’s nemesis, Amuro Ray.
