The MS-06DRC Desert Zaku (Rommel Custom) was a mobile suit fielded on the African front during the One Year War. Piloted by Desert Rommel, it was a customized version of the MS-06D Desert Zaku used by his forces, which themselves were customized from the original MS-06D Zaku Desert Type. The Rommel Custom featured a different design for its head and left shoulder spike armor. Its armaments included a long-range rifle and a custom shield claw mounted on its right shoulder. By the time of the First Neo Zeon War in UC 0088, Rommel piloted an MS-09H Dwadge Custom.
