During the One Year War, it was common for high-ranking Zeon officers and ace pilots to keep and operate personal customized mobile suits on the frontlines. One such customized unit was the MS-07B Gouf belonging to M’Quve, commander of the Zeon’s Odessa mining base in Europe. Decorated with ornate markings and engravings, his trademark spearhead antenna was carried over into the design of the YMS-15 Gyan, a mobile suit M’Quve personally helped to develop.
