The MS-18 Titania was a custom mobile suit used by Noisy Fairy pilot Alma Stirner during the One Year War in UC 0079. When Nosy Fairy recovered an MS-18E Kämpfer from a crashed HLV, mechanic Irmela Gruber determined that the suit’s light armor and focus on hit-and-run attacks was ill-suited for the type of combat the team engaged in. As a result, she stripped the Kampfer down to its frame and fully re-armored and re-armed it. Although the Titania’s new armor was heavier, it featured extra thruster tanks to compensate for the added weight. The Titania mostly eschewed beam weapons, which allowed generator power to be reallocated to mobility and power for higher performance. The Titania’s armaments included a giant bazooka, two beam sabers, a shotgun, a Gatling cannon, two sturm fausts, a pair of vulcan guns and a beam machine gun. With this new mobile suit, Alma was better equipped to fight enemy units like the RX-78XX Gundam Pixy.
