The MSM-07Di Ze’Gok was an unusual development of the MSM-07 Z’Gok. While the Z’Gok was an amphibious unit that functions in the water, the Ze’Gok was designed to “dive” through the atmosphere to conduct high-altitude attacks on the Earth Federation Forces headquarters in Jaburo. The Ze’Gok itself was a modified Z’Gok unit equipped with a Mobile Diver System that could attach to different Logistics Weapon Containers, or LWCs. The LWCs could house a variety of armaments, including large missiles, rocket pods or a scattering beam cannon converted from a mobile armor. After conducting its attack, the Ze’Gok was to dive into the ocean and wait for a pick up by a Gaw for its eventual return to space. In December UC 0079, the Ze’Gok and pilot Werner Holbein were assigned to the 603rd Technical Evaluation Unit on the Jotunheim following the destruction of the sister ship Muspelheim. Holbein’s mission was to destroy EFF ships as they launched from Jaburo and headed for space. On the third attempt, Holbein was able to destroy one Magellan and four Salamises using the Kuhblume scattering beam cannon. However, while in transit to a Gaw for pickup, Holbein was killed by a squadron of FF-X7Bst-II Core Booster II Intercept Types.
