The Neo Glaug was an unpiloted variable pod used by U.N. Spacy. It was based on the earlier VBP-1 Variable Glaug, although it omitted that unit’s Battroid mode. The Neo Glaug’s armaments were similar to its predecessor, although it added an extra pair of medium-bore guns. In March 2040, the out-of-control virturoid idol Sharon Apple seized control of the Neo Glaug and another unmanned fighter, the AIF-X-9 Ghost. Both were deployed to attack YF-19 test pilot Isamu Alva Dyson on his way to Macross City.
