Technical and Historical Notes

The NOG-M4F3 BLACK KNIGHT SQUAD Rud-ro.A was a mobile suit used by the Kingdom of Foundation in C.E. 75. It was piloted by Black Knight Squad member Liu Shenqiang, who, like all his teammates, was a genetically engineered Accord whose abilities exceeded those of Coordinators. The Black Knight Squad’s Rud-ro.A units were all codenamed for their accent colors, which in Liu’s case was Spinel. The Rud-ro.A incorporated ZAFT technology and featured new FT (Femto Technology) armor that was completely impervious to beams. Its armaments included a high-energy beam rifle, a shield, a beam mantle and a heavy blade. Combat power could be increased by deploying drone AMF-101Q/4 DINN-R and ZGMF-1017Q GINN-R mobile suits as escorts. Liu and two of his teammates were killed in battle against Shinn Asuka’s ZGMF/A-42S2 Destiny Gundam Spec II.
