After two NRS-P701 Gozzos battled Loran Cehack’s System-∀99 ∀ Gundam, they were salvaged by the Earth Militia and repaired into the NRS-P701R Godwin. Like the Gozzo, the Godwin was armed with a railgun mounted on the right shoulder. It lacked the Gozzo’s spiked shield and forearm missile launchers, but was equipped with a heat hawk for close combat. The two units were assigned to former Gozzo pilots Bruno and Jacop. After a failed attempt to assassinate Queen Dianna Soriel, Bruno and Jacop joined the Militia and stayed there until the end of the war.
