Kunio Okawara Chinese Zodiac Gundams

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Gundam in 2019, mechanical designer Kunio Okawara began releasing yearly iterations of the RX-78-2 Gundam in the style of that year’s animal in the Chinese Zodiac. New designs are released every January and would have to continue until 2030 to complete the entire Chinese Zodiac. These designs are not tied to any Gundam multimedia project.
