Mobile Suit Gundam: Outer Gundam is a series released exclusively in Japan from 1988-1992. Written and illustrated by Masafumi Matsuura, it was serialized in Cyber Comix magazine. The manga is a side story set during the Universal Century’s One Year War in UC 0079. Matsuura later followed up with a sequel manga, Mobile Suit Gundam REON.
