When Odel Bernett’s OZX-GU02A Gundam Geminass 02 was damaged in a minefield, it was captured by OZ Prize and taken to their flagship Granshirio, where Dr. Berg remodeled it into the OZ-10VMSX Gundam Aesculapius. The new Gundam Aesculapius kept the PX system present in the original version, but its armaments were substantially changed. The new backpack allowed for a close combat mode where the backpack was mounted onto the head and the python claws on the shoulders mounted over the hands like a pair of gloves. Other armaments included four new rapid shots, as well as two beam swords and an accelerate rifle. The Gundam Aesculapius was first used by OZ Prize pilot Roche Nattono during the early attacks on MO-V. However, after his inability to use it properly it was given to Odel Bernett, who was working under the identity of Silver Crown. As Silver Crown, Odel smuggled the OZ-19MASX Gundam Griepe off the Granshirio to give to his brother, Oden. When Odel’s plan was discovered by OZ Prize commander Valder Farkill, he returned to MO-V and brought the Gundam Aesculapius with him.
