The PPGN-001 Gundam Amazing Exia was a custom Gunpla built by PPSE for the exclusive use of Meijin Kawaguchi the 3rd. It was based on the GN-001 Gundam Exia from the 2007-09 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam 00. The Amazing Exia retained the original’s basic armaments and features like the Trans-Am System, which allowed the suit to deploy highly concentrated GN particles for a short time period. The Amazing Exia featured a new Trans-Am Booster that increased the suit’s mobility and stores two GN Blades. When PPSE Chairman Mashita feared that Arian prince Reiji would discover his true identity, he set up multiple obstacles to eliminate Reiji and Sei Iori from the 7th Gunpla Battle World Championship. As his final gambit, he had the Meijin brainwashed and the Amazing Exia modified into the Gundam Exia Dark Matter to serve as Sei and Reiji’s final opponent.
