The RB-79PP Polypodball was a custom Gunpla built by BALL (aka Azuma Carl Thompson). It was based on the RB-79 Ball from the 1979-80 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam. Whereas the original design was a space combat unit, BALL customized it to function on land using modified junk parts acquired from hobby shops. The Polypodball was armed with the same cannon as the original version. When out of control raid bosses threatened to destroy GBN, BALL was one of the many Divers who fought to save the online world.
