Although the Silver Chalice Treaty placed heavy restrictions on the Earth Federation Forces regarding weapons development, civilian mobile suit smiths continued to advance their craft in secret. The result was mobile suits used for activities like sports that exceeded the capability of their military counterparts. One such unit was the RGE-B790CF Genoace Fox Custom, a design created by the famous Madorna Workshop. Piloted by Fox, this custom unit varied greatly from the original RGE-B790 Genoace used by the military. In order to fit the additional armor on Genoace Fox Custom, its design and production was quite different from that of the standard version. Hover units were added to the legs as per Fox’s preference. The Genoace Fox Custom’s shoulder weapons could be changed to suit the situation. The beam guns mounted on the back of the waist were Mobile Security’s standard equipment and it was upgraded several times in order to deal with the Vagan threat. The shoulder-mounted 4-tube rocket launchers could be fitted onto other mobile suits after some adjustment. Although special adjustment was carried out on the Genoace Fox Custom, it could still be used as a mid- to long-range support suit easily. It could be regarded as one of Madorna’s representative works during his heyday.
