The Earth Federation Forces initiated a limited production of the RGE-G2100 Clanche as a mass produced AGE-2 Gundam AGE-2 Normal, but they also designed a commander’s variant, the RGE-G2100C Clanche Custom. The Clanche Custom offered higher performance levels than the standard model and featured some differences in armament. Its DODS rifle was a different model from the Clanche’s, and it was also equipped with a pair of DODS cannons based on the AGE-2DB Gundam AGE-2 Double Bullet. When the Vagans invaded the Earth city Olivernotes in AG 164, a Clanche team was posted to the battleship Diva under the command of Seric Abis, an ace pilot nicknamed “The Holmes of the Battlefield” after the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes. During the war’s last battle at La Gramis, Seric’s Clanche Custom was damaged after a fight with the xvx-ooo Gurdolin and became trapped on the hull of a Vagan battleship. Seric was killed when the Diva fired its photon blaster cannon at the enemy ship.
