The RGM-86RGM GM III Beam Master was a custom Gunpla built by the Diver Yukki (aka Yukio Hidaka) of Force Build Divers. It was based on the RGM-86R GM III from the 1986-87 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. The Beam Master was a support unit that incorporated additional beam weapons over the original version. Its legs were reinforced to maintain stability during firing. The Beam Master’s main weapon was its changeling rifle, which featured two rotating barrels to switch between beam rifle and beam vulcan modes. Other armaments included vulcan guns, beam sabers, missile pods and beam-firing buster binders, which could combine with the changeling rifle to perform powerful fusion beam attacks. Following the Mass-Diver incident, Yukki began to think that his unit was not contributing enough to the Build Divers, so he constructed a new Gunpla, the RGM-89BM Jegan Blast Master.
