The Rhinoceros Type B mobile armor was developed near the end of the war by squads in the front lines using mostly spare parts, including a stolen Earth Federation Forces Burstliner cannon. The development details were the same as that of the MS-06V Zaku Tank, but its abilities were superior in comparison. The Rhinoceros had heavy attack power and was used for long-range attacks, but what it gained in offense it lost in defense. Only one Rhinoceros was known to have been built and was deployed at Zeon’s Hughenden HLV base in Australia. It was destroyed on January 2, UC 0080, while defending the base from the attacking EFF White Dingo team.
