Late in the One Year War, the Earth Federation Forces produced several variants of its artillery support mobile suit, the RX-77-2 Guncannon. One such variant was deployed as part of reinforcements sent to the EFF’s Moore Brotherhood, operating out of Side 4’s Thunderbolt Sector. These units lacked the Core Block System used in the original Guncannon. They also featured a new space backpack with added thrusters, and their joints were sealed to protect against space debris. The Thunderbolt units used the same armaments as the original.
