The RX-78GP02A Gundam GP02A (MLRS Type) was an alternate configuration of the Gundam GP02A Physalis created in secret in UC 0083 as part of the Gundam Development Project. The default configuration of the GP02A was an atomic bazooka that loaded a nuclear warhead. However, the MLRS Type replaced that with a Multiple Launch Rocket System featuring six conventional rockets. The GP02A’s other armaments remained the same.
