The RX-79[G]Ez-8/HAC Gundam Ez8 Heavy Armed Custom was an Earth Federation Forces custom mobile suit. Based on the RX-79[G]Ez-8 Gundam Ez8 used by Shiro Amada, it was remodeled for space use with an emphasis on firepower. Two large-caliber beam cannons derived from the main guns of a Salamis class cruiser were attached to its back, giving it firepower equivalent to a warship. Manipulators were installed in its legs to support the cannon barrels and keep their movement to a minimum. Since the mobile suit itself had received only the most minimal modifications for space combat, the added weight of the Salamis cannons meant that its mobility was low. Although this was essentially a handmade machine, most of whose modification parts were derived from other machines, the result was a high performance mobile suit whose overall specs were equal to those of other machines.
