The RX-80PR-2 Pale Rider Cavalry was a test mobile suit created to evaluate the RX-80PR Pale Rider for mass production. The Pale Rider Cavalry was redesigned for mass production and eliminated some equipment to reduce costs, but it still featured high performance. The Pale Rider Cavalry retained the HADES (Hyper Animosity Detect Estimate System) from the original Pale Rider. This system boosted performance by removing all limiters, and though it was adjusted for normal pilots, it was still possible for the mobile suit to go out of control. The Pale Rider Cavalry’s armaments included vulcan guns, beam sabers (which could also function as beam javelins) and the “Shekinah” composite weapon that incorporated a giant Gatling gun, mega beam launcher and micro-missile launcher.
