The RX-80WR White Rider was one of three prototype mobile suits from the Pale Rider Project, which also included the RX-80BR Black Rider and RX-80RR Red Rider. The White Rider’s head was equipped with the ZEUS fire control system, a prototype version of HADES (Hyper Animosity Detect Estimate System). Due to the inability to miniaturize ZEUS, its appearance resembled a “crown” worn on the head. The White Rider was equipped with a large radiator plate that directly cooled the generator. The White Rider’s armaments included the “Shekinah,” a prototype composite weapon that incorporated a Gatling gun and beam cannon. Its other armaments included a grenade launcher and heat rapier. The White Rider was fielded late in the One Year War in UC 0079 and often deployed with its partner unit, the Black Rider. Both units were destroyed in combat at the war’s end.
