After Anaheim Electronics’ RXF-91 Silhouette Gundam prototype mobile suit was damaged in combat against the Crossbone Vanguard’s Dark Tiger team in Side 3’s Zebra Zone in early UC 0123, it was rebuilt and slightly improved. The rebuilt version, called the RFX-91A Silhouette Gundam Kai, featured an improved reactor for additional beam weapon power, as well as improved armor on the torso and cockpit hatch area and a grenade launcher on the right forearm in place of the beam spray gun used in the original model.
