The SD-237 Winning Gundam was a custom Super Deformed Gunpla built by Fumina Hoshino of team Try Fighters. It was an original unit not based on a pre-existing kit and was designed by Fumina to support her teammates, Kamiki Sekai and Yuuma Kousaka. This was accomplished through the use of modular parts called the Winning Road that could power up Sekai’s BG-011B Build Burning Gundam and Yuuma’s LGZ-91 Lightning Gundam. The Winning Gundam’s torso transformed into the Winning Knuckle, a power-up glove for the Build Burning, while its legs transformed into Winning Launchers to boost the power of the Lightning Gundam’s beam rifles. In this form, the Winning Gundam’s remaining parts functioned as a Core Fighter, but the parts could combine with it to function as a Core Booster. The Gunpla’s own armaments included vulcan guns, a radome shield with buzz saw, a beam machine gun and the Winning Launcher. The Winning Gundam served as Fumina’s Gunpla during the qualifiers for the 13th Gunpla Battle Japanese U-19 Championship. When the Try Fighters advanced to the tournament finals, she upgraded it into the SD-237S Star Winning Gundam.
