Mobile Suit Gundam SEED MSV ASTRAY is a series of two promotional OVA shorts created for Japanese model shops. The two shorts feature characters from the 2002 manga series Gundam SEED ASTRAY. The shorts were directed by Katsuyoshi Yatabe with mechanical designs by Junichi Akutsu, Kunio Okawara and Kimitoshi Yamane and character designs by Yooichi Ueda. Set in C.E. 71, the shorts star salvager Lowe Guele and mercenary Gai Murakumo, who each discover prototype Gundam suits within the ruins of the destroyed space colony Heliopolis. The shorts have been released on home video in Japan, but not North America.
