The Shackles was mobile suit sub-flight system used by the AEUG and Neo Zeon. Similar to other sub-flight systems, the Shackles could be controlled by the mobile suit riding on it. The AEUG version featured latches for the mobile suit’s feet to lock in place. The Neo Zeon version of the Shackles, used during the Second Neo Zeon War and Laplace Incident, was a booster sled that featured a cockpit and hand/foot grips for the mobile suit. Both versions of the Shackles were unarmed.
