Super Robot Wars Original Generation: The Inspector is a TV series that aired in Japan from 20010-2011. It is an adaptation of the 2005 Game Boy Advance title Super Robot Wars Original Generation 2. Directed by Masami Obari, the series was written by Yuichiro Takeda and Tatsunosuke Yatsufusa and featured many game mecha from designers like Obari, Hajime Katoki, Kazue Saito, Kazutaka Miyatake and Mika Akitaka. Set six months after the events of Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Divine Wars, the TV series focuses on the ATX team and their allies as they face new threats against the Earth. The TV series was simulcast with English subtitles on Crunchyroll, but it has never received a North American home video release.
