The SVMS-01AP Union Flag Orbit Package Colony Guard Type was a variant based on the SVMS-01AW Union Flag Orbit Package Astro Work Type. Commonly known as the Colony Guard Flag, the unit had improved combat capabilities and was tuned for patrolling the space colonies and asteroid field region. The Colony Guard Flag was mainly used in its mobile armor form, and was only produced in limited numbers as the Astro Work Flag was also armed. However, the Colony Guard Flag’s higher combat capabilities allowed them to handle enemy units that were too powerful for the Astro Work Flag. During missions like long distance patrolling, the suit’s back-mounted booster, which was its main propulsion equipment, was exchanged for a larger type. The suit’s backpack contained the main battery, a larger capacitor for its weapons, a magazine for the 60mm integrated linear cannons, etc.

The Raptor Position was the form whereby the suit positioned its legs at the front; his form was also suitable for close combat. The Cruise Position was the form whereby the suit positioned its legs at the back; this was the form adopted during travel. The legs could be transformed into a second pair of manipulators, and the linear spears could be deployed from the middle of these manipulators. The MLR-04 Crossfire was the standard version of the XLR-04 trial type rifle used by the SVMS-01E Graham’s Union Flag Custom. The 120mm short linear cannons were mounted on the shoulder hardpoints, while the rocket launcher packs were mounted on the leg hardpoints. During the construction of the space colonies at Lagrange Point 1, the suit was deployed as the trump card against terrorists and its performance met expectations. The Colony Guard Flag proved that the Flag was a versatile machine that could be used on land, on the sea, in the air and in space. In 2314, the Earth Sphere Federation used the Colony Guard Flag to bolster its defense line during the ELS invasion.
