The SVMS-01OP Union Flag Orbit Package was a space use variant of the SVMS-01 Union Flag. The Orbit Package lacked the transformation function of the standard Flag and had had its backpack removed, instead using thrusters for movement. The Orbit Package featured the same armaments as the standard Flag. Thanks to the introduction of GN Drive-equipped mobile suits the Orbit Package became an outdated design, but in 2312 some units were used by the resistance group Katharon. Two years later, the Earth Sphere Federation used the Orbit Package to bolster its defense line during the ELS invasion.
