The TBG-011B Try Burning Gundam was the upgraded version of the BG-011B Build Burning Gundam. The Build Burning, used by Sekai Kamiki, was originally created by Sei Iori and upgraded by Yuuma Kousaka for the 13th Gunpla Battle Japanese U-19 Championship tournament finals. Like the Build Burning, the Try Burning’s clear parts were capable of storing Plavsky particles for later release. Yuuma implemented the new Burning Burst System, which purged armor pieces to reveal clear parts storing Plavsky particles. The parts purge allowed for easier release of the stored particles and was used when Sekai experienced assimilation. This unique phenomenon allowed the fighter and Gunpla to become one, which greatly improved performance, but at the cost of the fighter feeling the pain from the damage inflicted on the Gunpla. Like the Build Burning, the Try Burning had no built in armaments since Sekai practiced the Jigen Haoh school of martial arts. Sekai used the Try Burning throughout the Japanese U-19 tournament and defeated team Celestial Sphere in the final round. After the tournament, former opponent Shia Kijima assisted Sekai in developing his own original Gunpla, the KMK-B01 Kamiki Burning Gundam.
