The Type-6Q/2C Chimaera was a military labor manufactured by Schaft Enterprises Europe. The Chimaera’s design was similar to the Type-5G/1C Grau-Bear, but it was armed with a 40mm machine gun mounted over its right shoulder. In 1999, Schaft employee Kurosaki posed as an employee of Holly Security Services and used several Chimaeras as part of an elaborate deception to have the experimental Type-R13EX Phantom attack a JSDF labor training ground in Oshima. The goal: lure out the Tokyo police’s SV2 labor unit and its AV-98 Ingram to fight the Phantom and gather combat data.
