The V07-0126 Sigrún was a Valkyrja Frame mobile suit developed during the Calamity War. The Grimgerde was designed as a lightweight suit that offered high mobility both in space and on the ground. Due to their late entry in the war, it is believed that the Valkyrja Frame suits did not have a major impact on the war’s outcome. The Sigrún’s main armament was the Valkyrja rapier, a weapon forged from rare metals that was capable of penetrating nanolaminate armor. It was also armed with a round shield inspired by the Middle Age knights from Earth’s distant past. The round shield functioned both defensively and offensively, as it featured four wire anchors that could be used to entwine enemies. After the Calamity War, Gjallarhorn conducted research on the Valkyrja Frame suits and used them as the basis for their mainline mass production units.
