In early 2046, U.N. Spacy tasked the Macross 7 emigrant fleet with the suicide mission of attacking planet Varauta IV to defeat the Protodeviln. As part of this operation, some of the fleet’s VF-11C Thunderbolts were equipped with new Super Parts that could operate both in space and in a planetary atmosphere. Like the standard Super Parts, the Aerospace Parts improved thrust and added several micro-missile launchers.
