Although the production run of the VF-1 Valkyrie ended in 2015, existing units received multiple upgrades in subsequent years. One such upgrade was the VF-1X Valkyrie Plus, rolled out in 2047. This version featured modernized avionics and improved thrust and performance thanks to its new engines. These upgrades increased the VF-1X’s weight, which was offset by the added thrust. In 2050, the VF-1X was in service with U.N. Spacy’s VF-X Ravens team. In the 2060s, the aging Valkyrie design was further upgraded as the VF-1EX.
