The VF-25G Messiah was a sniper variant of the standard VF-25 Messiah variable fighter. Compared to other VF-25 variants, the VF-25G featured a specially designed head with an enhanced optical package and a head turret monoeye for sniping. Its main armament was a Dragunov electromagnetic rail sniper gun pod equipped with eight target assisting balancers that opened when firing. The sniper gun pod loaded ultra high speed armor-piercing ammo and was accurate to within 10 cm from a distance of up to 20 km. Its other armaments included a 12.7mm beam gun, a bulletproof shield, a pair of machine guns (or beam machine guns), an assault knife, and a pinpoint barrier system. Its six underwing hardpoints could mount anti-ship reaction missiles or other equipment. The VF-25G could add to its arsenal by mounting the SPS-25S/MF25 Super Pack. SMS pilot Michael Blanc used a VF-25G throughout the Vajra War in 2059.
