The VGMM-Gb03 Gaeon was a space assault mobile suit developed by Venus Globe’s G-IT Laboratory. The Gaeon was powered by a powerful photon battery. Unlike other G-type suits, its head lacked a traditional “face” and instead utilized a sensor display that could show various expressions. Compared to the prototype version, the Gaeon’s main armament was the large Big Arm unit – a backpack attachment that resembled two hands with eight “fingers,” each of which mounted a beam saber/gun at its tips and could be used as sword funnels. The fingers could also be used defensively as a shield and also functioned as stabilizers during atmospheric flight. The Gaeon also mounted a pair of photon lasers in its head and carried a beam rifle. The Gaeon could expand its armaments by docking with the mobile armor Conque de Venus. In RC 1014, the Gaeon was piloted by G-IT Corps leader Kia Mbeki, who clashed multiple times with the Amerian Forces ship Megafauna. During one battle at Venus Globe, Mbeki accidentally damaged the Sea Desk and was killed by extreme pressure after using the Gaeon and Conque de Venus to plug the hole.
