Armored Trooper VOTOMS: Origin of Ambition is a one-shot OVA released in Japan in 1986. It is the third sequel produced for the Armored Trooper VOTOMS TV series. The production staff from the TV series returns for this OVA prequel set before the series. The story focuses on Chirico Cuvie’s time with the ruthless Red Shoulder Battalion. The OVA has been released on home video in North America by Sentai Filmworks’ Maiden Japan label.
