During the One Year War in UC 0079, the Principality of Zeon deployed the combat hovercraft PVN.4/3 Wappa on Earth. Decades later, the Zanscare Empire resurrected the concept with the Wappa Detector. Featuring a symmetrical design with two cockpits facing away from each other, the Wappa Detector was armed with two machine guns. The Empire used the Wappa Detector as a patrol craft in its space colonies.
