The Crossbone Vanguard’s XM-07G Vigna-Zirah mobile suit was the weapons upgraded version of the XM-07 Vigna-Ghina, which itself was designed to replace the Berga series. The Vigna Zirah mounted two VSBRs – or Variable Speed Beam Rifles – similar to those used on the Earth Federation Forces’ F91 Gundam F91 prototype. However, these VSBRs were mounted on the backpack in place of the standard Vigna-Ghina’s fin nozzles. To compensate for this setback, the Vigna-Zirah’s remaining rocket thruster power and AMBAC (Active Mass Balance AutoControl) abilities were increased. In addition, the Vigna-Zirah mounted additional sensors to overcome visual distortion and assist in aiming its VSBRs, and special Gundam-style ornaments could be added to the head. At least one Vigna-Zirah unit was known to exist, operated by the Crossbone Vanguard’s Dark Tiger team in early UC 0123.
